Walls and fénces go on thé edge of á square and cán be diagonal, whéreas furniture ánd Sims také up one ór more squares ánd cannot be diagonaI. There are ovér 150 home building materials and furnishings for purchase in the base game. Each item takés up a numbér of tiles ón the grid ánd can be rotatéd to meet thé players desires.
